PLM Group’s Electromagnetics Simulation Day 2026 takes place on Wednesday 11
November at Art Hotel Lasaretti in Oulu, Finland. The full-day event is built around CST
Studio Suite, with the 2027 software updates, three tracks on antennas, EMC and lowfrequency simulation, and a hands-on CST session with Dassault Systèmes experts.

About the talk: RF layout and spurious emissions
Spurious emissions are unwanted signals a radio device emits outside its intended channel. Layout choices such as ground return paths, how RF and clock lines are routed, decoupling and shielding all affect how much of that energy escapes. When it is caught late, in EMC or radio conformance testing, the fix often means a board respin.
Matti also spoke at last year’s event with “EMI Simulation Stories”. His talks are always worth a listen, so if EMC and EMI are part of your daily work, stay for the 15:40 slot.
