Radientum has partnered with Grinn, an electronics design company based in Wrocław, Poland, to help product companies move from wireless concept to production-ready hardware with greater confidence.
The partnership combines Radientum’s specialist expertise in antenna, RF, and EMC design with Grinn’s end-to-end capabilities in electronics design, embedded systems, mechanical development, wireless connectivity, and production management.
For companies developing connected devices, antenna performance is only one part of a larger hardware challenge. RF design decisions are tightly connected to PCB layout, enclosure mechanics, firmware behavior, certification requirements, component choices, and manufacturing constraints. By working together, Radientum and Grinn can support customers earlier and more comprehensively across the full product development path.
STRENGTHENING WIRELESS PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT WITH END-TO-END ENGINEERING EXPERTISE
Grinn strengthens Radientum’s ability to support customers who need more than antenna or RF design alone.
As a full-cycle hardware and embedded systems company, Grinn brings proven expertise in:
- Complete electronics design – from architecture and schematic design to PCB layout, prototyping, testing, and design-for-manufacturing.
- Embedded software and firmware development – including connectivity, low-power operation, device behavior, and system-level integration.
- Mechanical product design – helping align enclosure, industrial design, materials, and antenna performance from the earliest development stages
- Wireless connectivity implementation – supporting connected products that combine Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cellular, GNSS, and IoT protocols.
- Production management – helping bridge the gap between working prototypes, certification-ready devices, and scalable manufacturing.
- Edge AI and IoT platforms – including Grinn’s own System-on-Module and Single Board Computer products for connected and intelligent devices.
This broader engineering capability makes Grinn a valuable partner for customers whose antenna and RF challenges are part of a larger product development program.
“The value we bring to our clients goes beyond our own engineering capability – it includes knowing when to bring in specialist expertise, and having the right partners in place to do it”
– Grinn CEO, Robert Otręba.
BETTER OUTCOMES FOR COMPLEX WIRELESS PRODUCTS
Wireless hardware development often becomes difficult when antenna, electronics, mechanics, firmware, and certification are handled separately. Late antenna integration, unsuitable enclosure materials, suboptimal PCB layout, or missing RF considerations can lead to redesigns, delays, and increased development costs.
The partnership between Radientum and Grinn helps reduce these risks by bringing specialist RF expertise and full-system hardware development closer together.
For Radientum customers, this means access to a trusted development partner that can take responsibility for the wider hardware platform while keeping antenna and RF performance at the center of key design decisions.
For Grinn customers, the partnership provides direct access to Radientum’s antenna and RF/EMC expertise, built on more than 1,000 projects for over 250 customers across 30+ countries.
“Together, we help customers reduce risk, accelerate development, and achieve reliable connectivity even in the most challenging environments”
– Radietnum CEO, Jukka Sjöstedt.
PROVEN COLLABORATION: THE ALL.U.ME PROJECT
One example of the collaboration between Grinn and Radientum is all.u.me, a Danish personal safety wearable designed to blend seamlessly into jewelry.
The project required a complete electronics platform, including a Bluetooth Low Energy antenna, to fit inside a compact 1 cm form factor enclosed in a metallic housing. Metal enclosures are especially challenging for embedded antennas, as they can significantly affect antenna efficiency and wireless performance.
Grinn led the full hardware and firmware development, including PCB layout optimization and antenna tuning. Radientum contributed specialist antenna expertise to help achieve reliable BLE performance across multiple jewelry variants.
The final platform met regulatory requirements and reached mass production readiness, while maintaining sleep-mode power consumption below 400 nA.

“The ability to know when to reach out for expert assistance is extremely important – to save time and cost for me as the product owner,” said Dorte Caroline Knudsen, Founder of all.u.me. “Antenna design is a very specific expertise and we were not in doubt that the Radientum team were the right ones to design an antenna solution that allowed us to optimize performance while keeping the product vision intact. The antenna integration was especially critical due to the compact mechanical design and metal housing. Choosing the right development team with a proven partner network was a key factor in the success of this project.”
